The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2006 as a part of University of South Asia Lahore Cantt. Currently it has an enrolment of over 50 students. The department offers B.Sc, Civil Engineering Programmes at undergraduate Level. In the Bachelor Degree Courses, emphasis is laid on the fundamental Concepts and principles, which constitute the basis of Civil Engineering practice. To foster their creative abilities the students are assigned projects on design, construction as laboratory investigations for self directed execution. The classroom and laboratory work is supplement3ed with instructional tours to acquaint students with the Civil Engineering projects of national importance.

A society can't be termed as "civil" unless there is the establishment and implementation of law. University of South Asia has developed its law program with a lot of emphasis on practical work. The three-year program is divided into twenty one courses during which the students are exposed to both theory and practice. The University provides first-hand experience in the form of a simulated "USA Court of Justice" where students and faculty members carry out court proceedings based on case studies and text-book examples, with a view to provide practical exposure to the students. The focus of the program is the legal system of Pakistan. The method of teaching involves legal text, case analysis, practical assignments and preparation exercises from leading law firms who will work in association with the University and provide necessary support for students to gain practical experience. Special attention is focused on developing Analytical, Communication, Interpersonal, Presentation, and advocacy skills - as these form the basis of a successful legal practitioner.
