It is with immense pleasure that I welcome the start of a new graduate program leading to M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Civil Engineering at University of South Asia, which is a chartered Institution since 2003 and recognized by HEC, PEC, and PCATP. Engineering has remained the focus of all civilizations and those which excelled in engineering have left their foot prints in the history. Engineering is the key to the survival of mankind and making the planet a global village by developing communication networks, harnessing the resources for water power, food etc. Emerging technologies are changing the face of the world.
